Investigation into complaint over cause of patient’s sudden death
We looked at whether an alleged failure by the Trust to treat a cyst on a patient's chest led to him developing sepsis.
Although we found some failings, we concluded there was no negative impact on his overall care, which was reasonable and in line with relevant standards.
